Capsicum is one of my favorite ingredient and by now you must be used to hearing me say this on most of the things in the pantry!!
Capsicum also known as peppers / bell peppers, belongs to the nightshade family.It comes in many colors and the pic above has all my favorite colors.
This veggie has a lot of health benefits.A few are listed below...

Capsaicin, which is present in capsicums, is a
lipophilic chemical that produces a burning sensation in the mouth
and it is believed to prevent and treat cancer since this compound
prevent carcinogens from binding with the DNA.
