One of the first cakes that I baked for this Bakeathon is this one from Srivalli's blog.At first I was a bit skeptical about baking honey but trusting Srivalli's recipe, I went ahead and I now I am getting repeat requests for this cake! This is super moist and delicious and smells and taste of honey just like the name suggests!
The last jar of honey that I got on a promo sale - buy one get one free, was put to good use with this recipe.
I made this one night when I was feeling really bored and wanted to do something nice. Naturally, the first thing that came to my mind was baking for the Bakeathon. I checked my bookmarks and my eyes fell on this recipe. And before long the whole house smelt divine!
The kids were so eager to taste this cake and they were ready even ready to fore go dinner! So I suggested they finish dinner and then eat as much of the cake as they like. Now, this was something I should not have said! The kids polished off all but the 4 cupcakes that you see in the pics!!I was so happy to see them indulge and even more happier when Lil Angel mention that I was best!
