Onion Tomato Toast

For this week's blogging Marathon, I have chosen the theme- 'Copy cat recipes' , where we get to choose and post recipes from one of our fellow marathoners.I have chosen Vaishali's blog - Ribbon's To Pasta's for this week and this is the first recipe from ther blog.

I came to know Vaishali through the Blogging Marathon and right from the first time I stepped into her world, I felt it was a place that felt like home - warm and cozy with foods to make you feel relaxed and drool at the same time.Vaishali is famous in our circle for posting the series on Indian thalis that were mind boggling.

For today's post I have posted this sandwich recipe.Sandwiches are the ones that I love to have even on days when there are other breakfast options at home. So there is almost always a loaf of bread in the bread box. A few days ago I made this simple yet filling sandwich from Vaishali's space.

I used:
Recipe source- Ribbon's to Pasta's

Bread - 4 slices

For filling :

Onion- 1 , finely chopped
Tomato -1 finely chopped
Coriander leaves- finely chopped
Green chilli- 1, small, deseeded and finely chopped
Maggi Hot and Sweet  Ketchup - teaspoon
Grated cheese - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste

Mix all the above ingredients for the filling.

Toast the bread slices and place the filling on one toast and top it up with another piece of toast. Cut into the desired shape and serve immediately. ..
